bored

I am bored.
I don't really understand how everyone loves summer vacation.

My internship ended and school doesn't start for 2 more weeks.... and my real job won't start till december...

Now, I know you're all thinking... why is she complaining about having time off and nothing to do?

Well... I am BORED.

I wish I had a house or garden to work on... or that my husband would be on break so we could go on vacation...

but instead I am just at home alone being bored.

Oh well, enough complaining about what other people would die for... BUT...

This is what I would be doing if I could....

Building a dream home...

Planting and tending to a herb garden...

touring Italy with Erik...

sitting on a porch at the beach reading a book and drinkin wine...

Where do you wish you were??

uninspired...

I don't know why, but for the last couple months, I have been having so much trouble coming up with anything inspired to put on this here blog. Does anyone else get that with blogging? I just feel like I am not doing anything too interesting. Not saying I am not happy because I am VERY happy, just feeling like nothing i am doing is too far out of the ordinary to put on here.

The one thing that I just can't stop thinking about though... is that I love this time of the year. I love it when it is the last couple of weeks of summer, the weather is still beautiful but the anticipation of school starting and the fall months is at its peak. I love fall so much!

It is by far my favorite season. I think the world is just so beautiful during fall, with the leaves changing and all new colors coming into the normal day to day palette of life. The new seasons of TV shows start, the smell of new rain and wind! Also, I am a sucker of nutty brown ales and pumpkin seasonals.

And, who doesn't love an amazingly soft and warm sweater?

What is your favorite season??

attention yogis....

I seriously need yoga to make its way back into my life. I don't think there has ever been a time when I thought about yoga more than I have this whole week, but I have been having headaches and feeling so fatigued that I have not even attempted to go to class or even practice on my own.
Does anyone know a good way to create a habit of doing yoga everyday??
Or good books/cds to help withhome practice??
Because I am in a serious rut right now, wanting to practice and feeling as if it is necessary but not bringing myself to do it.
HELP ME! I need inspiration!

To the New Frontier...

I AM SO EXCITED!
I just booked Erik, my brother Will, and I on flights to Cordova, AK to visit my sister and brother in law!!
I am so excited to explore the new frontier and get to know the area that Jessyka and Jonah live in!
I wish I was going tomorrow!!

And just a side note... when I googled "Cordova, Alaska" and looked at the images... my brother in law Jonah was in a picture on the first page!!
I feel like he is a celebrity!

I love it! CAN'T WAIT!!

i shouldn't make promises...

I can't keep...

I promised I would blog everyday last week and it just didn't happen. I will give you a little background. First of all, it was the final week of my internship, so it has been SO crazy at work, thinking about every little thing I need to get done... BUT.. it has all been worth it because I GOT THE JOB! :) They hired me on to start full time after I graduate in December.

BUT ALSO,

I also started two new classes so it has been rough managing all my time. BUT I need to start thinking about how much I love this little blog and how much better it makes me feel every time I write on it or get to read other incredible blogs!

So... I thought I would share a little bit about what has been going on with me... Besides my internship...

I also just started two new incredible hobbies/sports.

First off: I started taking a "Learn to Row Crew" Class about 2 weeks ago. It is a class where we learn the basics of rowing, both sculling and sweep rowing and get to go out on the water at 5:45 2 times a week and just let all our worries flow away and just focus on the sport. It is an amazing work out both physically and mentally. It is the ULTIMATE team sport. You cannot be a successful rower... unless you are in a single boat... without team work. If one person is throwing the boat off balance you will never meet your destination and maybe might even flip over into the water. It has been an AMAZING experience. It is also nice to get a feel for what my little sister, Katie of Currently Obsessed With, does on a daily basis at school. She is the Coxswain for the Santa Clara University mens rowing team. And after these two weeks, I have an even greater respect for her sport and all the effort and brain power that goes into it.

And Second, Erik and I also started a marathon training course, where we meet every Saturday to do a group run and throughout the week we do smaller workouts to prepare.

So all in all, I am so tired!

But... I am back to blogger. :)

Happy Saturday everyone!
