I think of dinner as more of an event than just a meal. Especially in the summertime! I have been noticing more and more since I have gotten married that I always want to set the table with matching dishes and pretty napkins.. I want the serve-ware to look nice and think that even the arrangement of the food is important now. Sooo.. I thought I would share with you some pretty summer dishes I have found. I wish I owned ALL of them!

Since green is a color that represents growth, new life, and being prosperous, it totally fits with being a mood color for a kitchen. I love these green kitchens and how they just look so inviting and in a way, healthy.

New Space Inspiration!

After studying at the library for four hours today, I realized that I need to get to work on my home office. My mom and I cleaned out a side bedroom this weekend and it is just begging to become my home for the next two months. So, operation home office.. begin.

First things, first. Inspiration.
Next.. make Erik help me move the love seat from our apartment in here.
After that, set up record player left behind by Jessyka.
Listen to music.
Create.



Then.. Study. Admire office.

End of Bed Benches

So, being in Orlando, we are staying at a Hilton

that at the end of every bed there is a bench. It has made me realize that in our future master bedroom... we must have a bench at the end of the bed. Not only is it convenient to sit on, but it makes the room look so much more glamorous! I love it!

P.S. I love the patterned ones... but I am not sure I would rock those. Maybe a white one, I am all about white linens and furniture in the bedroom... calm and fabulous.

I love Exposed Brick!

I think exposed brick is so amazing. It adds so much character to the room. I hope that some day I will have exposed brick in my kitchen... my bedroom.. my living room... I mean.. a girl can dream.

p.s. sorry I have been a slacker on my blog. I have been so stressed and busy and it has just taken a back seat. So, I hope to do better! Have a great Thursday! 

Spin Hurricanes..

Yesterday I was home from work because it was really icy on the hill I live on and my car was sliding when I tried to go to work. But.. when I was procrastinating before starting my homework, I came across these beautiful spin hurricanes from Crate & Barrel. I want them to put in my future home! So pretty!

Little Things...

Starting this week I am back to school after a two month break and I am definitly already feeling the pressure. Going to school online is so much harder than in the classroom because not only do you have to learn it all yourself but you also have to learn to budget your time in the most efficient way.

So I am realizing really quickly how important the little things are in aiding my stress levels. Such as, making a weekly plan of action (P.O.A as I might refer to it as sometimes), setting up a study zone/ organzied desk area, and last but not least the power of little things.

The little things that have already helped me this week are... picking out the perfect pen, pencil, eraser etc. making sure I have pretty binders, and drinking tea out of a pretty cup while I work!

His and Hers Sinks

 

I love his and hers sinks. I think it is such a cute idea to think about getting ready next to each other in the morning in peace instead of leaning over Erik brushing his teeth so I can do my mascara. I think all three of these bathrooms will probably be contestants for dream home bathrooms.

White Kitchens...

I have been loving the look of the white kitchen lately. It just looks so crisp and clean and welcoming. I also love all three of these because they have a set spot to sit, eat, and have conversation in the kitchen, which I love!

A friend of mine is in the process of maybe having a home with her fiance and asked me to help decorate the inside! I am sooo excited! I love picking out cool inspiration pictures then trying to make the room similar on a very low budget! Here are some inspirational pictures I think she would like!
