I realized that over the past two weeks I have strayed from my goal of working toward happiness and seeing it as a vocation instead of something that just happens. I believe that you have to do your own personal part in happiness to achieve its true glory. I have everything I want. I just have been dwelling on situations that are not worth dwelling on, thinking about people who are not worth worrying about. I need to get back into my centered place and remember that happiness is a vocation that you need to invest your time in. You need to leave your worldy body and think of yourself as something more. Think about working toward something, something greater than today.
Lately, I have been thinking a lot about trips I have taken and how they make me feel. And I realized that people in Europe just know how to live. They are more laid back and give themselves more slack. They are more open about positive emotions and do not get mad nearly as often. I believe I need a little more Europe in my everyday life and I know I defiantly need more writing.
And more wine, cheese, and tomatoes. :)
Currently Listening to: The train rolling by my apartment.
